Anusara Global Kula – What are New Elements Teachers up to? – 5th Edition Anusara Marga

What are These New Elements Teachers up to?

A few months ago, the School reached out to Elements teachers licensed in 2018, wanting to see how they were faring as new teachers.  We received many enthusiastic responses!

Many are already teaching weekly classes and are loving the chance to step into the role of the teacher.  A few are already continuing their Anusara studies by enrolling in 300-hour Advanced Teacher Trainings and are looking ahead to becoming a licensed Anusara Inspired yoga teachers!

Several expressed gratitude for Anusara Yoga and some mentioned the teachers who have helped them along the way.

Here are some of the responses:

Maria Urrutia (Latin America)

“I’m indeed teaching 🙂 I’m teaching in the studio where I did my TT and also I have some private classes in my little room!”

Anaïd Reuther (European Union)

“Incidentally, I have a really great place where I teach:
The pediatric and adult center in Eltville, and I have been teaching there since January 2019 for four hours a week! … And frankly, it’s what gives me the greatest joy: to teach!!!!   I already signed up for the 300 hr Advanced Teacher Training  with Kai Hill in Berlin! I definitely need to learn more and always want to improve!”

Adrianne Nelson (United States) She is teaching at a university! She writes:

“Guess what!! I am in the third week of my new job as an adjunct yoga teacher at the local university where I live (Utah Valley University’s Heber campus)

I love it SO much, and it has been my dream job for about 4 years now.  I am loving my students and their willingness to learn!  It has been a challenge trying to figure out exactly what to cover for the semester as it’s a fitness class, but I believe that I have a pretty good handle on offering some effective foundations.  I feel more confident as a teacher today than I did 5 years ago and I am so thankful for this journey I am on!

Victor Buri  (Latin America) travels to different cities to teach.

“I’m happy to be part of Anusara. I am very grateful that I had the opportunity to share all the lessons teaching a regular class in the yoga studio in Guayaquil, as well as teaching at the school of philosophy at New Acropolis.

Anusara is a wonderful method that has changed my life, and so I share it with all my students, and it is finally my desire to dedicate myself to teaching Yoga. I hope to attend more events that the School organizes.”

It was great to connect with these new teachers. ASHY is dedicated to supporting our teachers and helping people connect to Anusara yoga around the world.

We would love to hear from other Elements teachers. Please write to ory@anusarayoga.com and let us know what you are up to!
