Vilas has taught yoga since 2003. Deep inner peace, a joyful approach towards life and the imminent wish to expand his vision create the background of his teaching.
In overcoming a serious injury, he learned how important the alignment of the “inner” with the “outer” body is. Led by this experience he understood, that in addition to teaching the postural practices of hatha yoga, a connection to the realm of Pranayama is vital. For Vilas Pranayama is an evolving field that promises to be an indispensable part of contemporary yoga.
In the 90s Vilas designed and created a meditative contemporary landscaped Park in Ireland, a place where the earth meets the sky. This daily confrontation with nature developed special sensitivities for a deeper understanding of time as an important element of personal growth. Based on this experiences Vilas teaches classes which enable the students to expand and create through their own inspiration.
