Anusara Yoga for the Health of It

All levels welcome. The instruction will include poses with modifications and variations to
meet all body types and levels of yoga students.
Friday, November 1, 7:00 pm – 9:00 pm – Health of the Spine.
A practice focused on the
alignment, stability and movement of the spine.
Saturday, November 2, 9:00 am – 12:00 pm – Health of the Upper Back, Shoulders, and Arms.
We explore the connection from the base of the heart to the finger tips. Using a practice to
promote sound postural alignment, stabilize and support the shoulders, engaging the arms as
sources of foundation to promote well-being.
Saturday, November 2, 2:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Health of the Lower Back, Hips, and Legs.
move from the base of the heart down through the body into the earth. This practice will
support good biomechanics to align the lower body and move toward optimal health.
Sunday, November 3, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm – Teachers Practice
. A practice with discussion on
the teaching of yoga Asana incorporating the Anusara Universal Principles of Alignment. Open
to all teachers and students exploring the possibility of becoming a yoga teacher.
