Inversions should be a key component of your yoga practice. They stimulate the endocrinal system, boost the memory, sharpen, focus & calm the mind.
It’s already known that blood transports oxygen and fuel to brain cells but research has found that inversions improve blood circulation, influence nerve function and help to regulate information passing through the brain.
Bridget will teach the building blocks for safe and effective inversions, the use of props, variations in headstands (sirsasana) and shoulderstands (sarvangasana) and finish the practice with a meditation.
