Please join Advanced Certified Anusara® teacher Adam Ballenger (and Certified Anusara Yoga teacher Julia Schlenkert as host and translator into German) to deepen your understanding of anatomy as it relates to asana and movement in general.
This is one of the required modules of the full Anusara® 300-h Advanced Yoga Teacher Training, Julia and Adam are offering in 2021/2022.
In this module we will study the main movements possible in a human body such as flexion, extension, twisting, and asymmetrical poses.
With each main movement, we’ll discuss and practice these primary teaching skills:
– Knowledge of the primary and secondary places of movement in these main classes of poses;
– Key observation points and verbal adjustments to get into a safe pose
– Key actions to teach in each class of postures
– Main precautions of each movement type.
– How to deal with some of the most common conditions in classes.
Adam is teaching in English, but you will get direct (word-by-word) teaching translation into German by Julia and a handout in English. The handout is currently being translated into German as well and will be provided later if necessary.
A recording of each session will be available within the hour after class and can be kept for review for 6 months.
A prerequisite to join this training module is a 200h Yoga Anusara teacher training OR of any kind + the bridge program or great knowledge of Anusara Yoga. Please contact Julia Schlenkert if you are not sure or have any questions.
