Would you like to refine your teaching of asana in the Anusara style and prepare for the Inspired or Certified license?  If yes, this module is for you.  The first intention of this module is to continue to develop our skill at teaching asana, using the Universal Principles of Alignment.  This is what is meant by the word “Methodology” in the title.  The teaching method we will focus on is Demonstration.  In each of the 4 sessions, students will meet in Zoom breakout rooms to practice teaching asana, using the skill of demonstration, and then talk about it with the others in their group.

Would you like to have support in preparing for the class video when you apply for the Inspired or Certified license?  That is what the “Co-Mentoring” part of this module is about. The Student Handout presents a method to support the teacher in contemplating their teaching, and for a “co-mentor” to share their insights.  The result is the empowerment of Anusara yoga teachers, such that they take ownership of their teaching and learning process.  Students share how this leads to the experience of “Kula” or the community of the Heart.  After the 4 live sessions, students meet in pairs or groups to continue the process of “co-mentoring” by observing each other teach and discussing that teaching experience in an uplifting way.  Some students continue this process for months or years after the end of the course because they receive so much from this process.
