Yoga Bio

Stacey Swerer- EYRT 500

Stacey’s love for yoga introduced her to many styles and traditions with deep roots in Ashtanga, Iyengar, and ultimately Anusara® Yoga. Anusara showed her the benefits and results from a practice that focuses on the biomechanics of the body connected to philosophical theming that delivers a message that is both uplifting and inspiring. As a Certified Anusara® Yoga teacher with advanced therapeutic training, Stacey’s classes are taught from 25 years of deep study and the exploration of her own personal practice. Students are attracted to her alignment-based vinyasa style that integrates thoughtful sequencing with articulate cues that will guide students progressively into peak postures with safety and integrity. Her offerings come from the center of the heart and allow students to embrace the balanced action of integration and expansion through intentional practice. Stacey loves to share the refinements of her practice and enable students to fully engage in cultivating and polishing their personal skills on and off the mat. Paying close attention to the pulsation of energy and the subtle body connection to the inner knowledge that brings us together to learn and grow in the beauty of yoga. Stacey is a highly experienced teacher, E-RYT 500 registered through Yoga Alliance and is the co-creator of the Effort and Grace Yoga Teacher Training program in Fort Collins. She teaches public classes, workshops, teacher trainings, and private sessions.
