Will Doran (USA)

I began my study of yoga in 1998 primarily as a way to work with physical injuries in my spine and knee; I also loved how it expanded my meditation practice and awareness of spirituality living fully in the physical realm.  In 2004 I began my study of Anusara Yoga and its beautiful connection to non-dual Tantric philosophy and its rich core of yoga spirituality.  Through Anusara I have been able to create a yogic practice that honors embodiment and an energetic connection to Divine Consciousness.  This desire to go deep into my studies and practice empowered my focus and discipline to persevere with Anusara training and eventually earning  full certification in 2014.

Being an Anusara yogi opened my heart to many aspects of yogic practice and how Grace leads us towards fulfillment and purpose. Anusara’s first principle inspired me to recognize that we are in partnership with the Divine, that I am both a unique being living in the world of duality and am living from a higher plane of interconnectivity to all things. I bring to class a depth of experience dealing with the challenges of life—both physical and emotional—and the insight into how we can turn our unique experiences and challenges into the very material that refines our spiritual practice.

My gift to share is decades of study, meditation and practice, as well as over twenty years of teaching yoga and serving as a personal life coach. With tempered humility I strive to connect with my students on a common ground and bring love and awareness into each class I teach, honoring myself as a teacher and the uniqueness of each student. I celebrate the diversity of life and how it enriches our collective experience.

There is an exciting line-up of amazing teachers from around the world who will teach in English, Spanish, German and Chinese!
All times are in the New York (USA) time zone.
