Thank you, Karen Sprute-Francovich!

The Anusara School of Hatha Yoga’s Board of Directors and staff would like to take this opportunity to thank and honor Karen Sprute-Francovich for her dedication, selfless service and her unwavering commitment to the School’s Curriculum Committee and to our School.

Last month, Karen gracefully stepped down from her role as Curriculum Committee Co-Coordinator. As a long-time volunteer, she hopes that stepping down will allow new teachers to take the lead and bring their ideas and inspirations to the School.

Karen, an Experienced Certified Anusara Teacher (ECAT), worked with fellow ECAT Jayendra Hanley to lead the Curriculum Committee. Karen played a lead role in writing, developing and launching the 300-hour Anusara Teacher Training curriculum in 2015. Since then, she has continued to work on various curriculum related projects, including the revisions of the 300-hour Teacher Training modules as well as co-authoring the Therapeutic Applications of Anusara yoga – Teacher’s guide, which launched earlier this year.

We are grateful to have her as a teaching member of our School and are very pleased that she will continue to share her experience and expertise with her local community and studio, Garden Street School of Yoga, in Idaho, USA.

Thank you for your seva, Karen!
