Dear Anusara Teacher Trainers,

September is just around the corner. I hope you are all making the most out of this season despite world events. Most of our global regions are starting to get back to the studio but others are still suffering. I am also aware that some of you are working through health issues. I send you all vibes of love, wellness and good health.

The following communication comes from the Professional Development Department. These are updates that are specifically meant for you as teacher trainers. My hope is that in maintaining open lines of communications we can continue to work together as a team and I can make sure you have what you need to stay informed and equipped to best lead your programs and serve your students. Complimentary information is available in Anusara News (If you are not receiving the “Anusara News” bi-weekly e-mail newsletter, please let me know. I can turn on notifications for you so that you don’t miss out, but I need your written consent to do so).

Action required by all Teacher Trainers!

Beginning January 2022, teacher trainers will be able to automatically receive an updated Teacher Trainer Curriculum Package each year provided they complete this teacher trainer agreement form. This will help us update your profile so that we can send you the tools you need for a successful teacher training. Please submit the teacher trainer agreement to receive your copies.

A big thank you to all for registering your teacher trainings with the School. It is making a huge difference and allowing the School to welcome new teachers into the School, develop new programs, materials and policies that support you in your role as Anusara members and teacher trainers. 

Please note, we DO NOT, share your student’s e-mail addresses with anyone or add them to our mailing list. We only contact students you specifically recommend for Anusara membership. And we only contact them to congratulate them for receiving your recommendation and to provide them with instructions on how to apply.

We a higher than average number of teachers join the School in the last months. Our School is growing and there’s hope for the future! Clearly, your teaching is inspiring students to begin their own Anusara teaching journey. Thank you for encouraging them to pursue an Anusara membership.

Q&A: Is my teacher training Yoga Alliance approved?

Not ALL Anusara teacher trainings are recognized by Yoga Alliance! To make sure yours is, please either:

1. Register with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT500 and
2. Contact me to list yourself or your studio location under our Yoga Alliance School.

-OR- 

1. Register with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT500 and
2. Apply to become your own Yoga Alliance registered yoga school directly through Yoga Alliance.

Q&A: Will Yoga Alliance Approve my Online Teacher Training in 2022?

For trainings that START before or in March 2022*: : If you or your studio are officially listed under our School’s Yoga Alliance RYS then yes, your training will be approved by Yoga Alliance. If you are not listed under our RYS please make sure that you have applied for the Online Exception through Yoga Alliance. *We do not have any other information beyond these dates at this time.
