Hi! My name is Simona and I am Italian although I have lived abroad since I was 16 and have been in the UK for 19 years. I am a well-rounded yoga teacher with a good awareness of anatomical bodies and their mechanics, having been a dancer for 10 years and practiced yoga for 20. I am particularly interested in alignment to allow every body to explore steady yoga poses in a safe way through precise cues.

A certified Experienced Yoga teacher by Yoga Alliance Professionals, I first qualified as a Kids Yoga Teacher in 2014 with Rainbow Kids Yoga and subsequently specialised further in Hatha, Anusara®, Rasa and Seasonal Yoga. I studied with Sarah Powell in 2019 and became Anusara® Inspired in January 2023. The following year I dived deeper into the practice and philosophy with a 300 hrs training with Cristina Sell.

My interest in philosophy shines through my theming and the Hindu Gods and Goddesses make often an appearance to inspire my pupils through captivating story telling.

Meditation is part of my practice and I also enjoy teaching Restorative, Yin and Yoga Nidra to counterbalance my more Yang classes.

My students say that my warm and caring nature shines through as I like to carefully plan my lessons, workshops and retreats and I like to give a sense of community, support and belonging to my students.

I teach in person just outside of London and organise Retreats in the UK and Italy. I hope to meet you soon on the mat x
