Level 2 – Inspired Anusara™ Yoga Teacher
(L2 - IAYT)

Inspired Teachers are recognized for their refinement, dedication, and growing mastery of the Anusara method. Their classes skillfully weave alignment and philosophy into a transformative student experience.

Requirements for Advancing Members:

  • At least 2 years of teaching experience as an L1- Elements Anusara Yoga Teacher.

  • Have an active L1-EAYT membership

  • Class Assessment and Feedback from an Anusara Mentor (Anusara Trainer) this includes:

  • Coordination with a mentor (Anusara Trainer) to assess your class using the Universal Class Assessment Form (UCAF). Keep a copy for your records. 

  • Fill out a self-evaluation form of this same class using the UCAF. Keep a copy for your records.

  • Have a feedback session with your mentor to discuss your strengths and learning opportunities as an Anusara Teacher. 

  • Meet the standard of the Continuing Education policy: 

  • 30hrs of Continuing Education over 3 years period and 

  • 1 peer evaluation using

L2 - IAYT Checklist for Advancing Members

  • 200-hr  hrs Anusara Yoga Teacher Training Certificate of Completion

  • Complete the L2  - IAYT Application Form

  • Pay the Application fee

  • Once approved, pay for the L2-IAYT annual license. 

  • Read and Acknowledge the L2-IAYT License Agreement

Requirements for New Members:

  • 4 years of teaching experience in any Yoga Style

  • 200-Hour Teacher Training Certificate of Completion by a Yoga Alliance-Registered School

  • 100hrs of Anusara Education combined in any of the following:

    • Anusara Bridge Program (a minimum of 36 hours) + Continuing Education Credits (64 hours) or 

    • 100 Hour Anusara Immersion or

    • 100 Hour Anusara Teacher Training or

    • 100 hours of the 300-Hour Anusara Teacher Training Modules (includes required and elective modules)

  • Class Assessment and Feedback from an Anusara Mentor (Anusara Trainer) this includes:

    • Coordinate with a mentor (Anusara Trainer) to assess your class using the Universal Class Assessment Form (UCAF). Keep a copy for your records. 

    • Fill out a self-evaluation form of this same class using the UCAF. Keep a copy for your records.

    • Have a feedback session with your mentor to discuss your strengths and learning opportunities as an Anusara Teacher. 

    • Agreement to the School’s Code of Ethics and licensing terms
