L3 – Certified Anusara® Yoga Teacher
(L3 - CAYT)

Certified Teachers represent a high standard of excellence in the Anusara tradition. They embody the philosophy and methodology at a deep level and are qualified to mentor teachers.

Requirements:

  • 500 hours of Anusara Yoga Training, including the 300hr  Anusara TT Program.

  • Minimum 7 years of consistent teaching experience, at least 5 consecutive years of teaching experience as a L2-IAYT 

  • Complete the L3-CAYT Application Form and pay the Certification Process fee

  • Completion of the Anusara Certification Process, this process includes: 

    • A written exam 

    • Designation of an Anusara Assessor (Anusara Trainer)

    • Written Exam Feedback Session and Class Plan Review from your Anusara Assessor

    • Class Assessment and Feedback from your Anusara Assessor, this includes:

      • Class Assessment (Live, Recorded, Live Online) 

      • Universal Class Assessment Form filled by your Assessor. (Keep a copy for your records)

      • Self-evaluation of the same class using the UCAF. (Keep a copy for your records).

      • Feedback session with the Assessor to discuss strengths and learning opportunities as an Anusara Teacher. 

  • Approval from Assessor and the Anusara School of Hatha Yoga

Ready to become an Anusara Yoga Teacher  Trainer

Becoming a Trainer Checklist (infographic)

  • Read and Acknowledge the Prerequisites

    • Current L3-Certified Anusara Yoga Teacher license in good standing + 2 years of experience in that License category. 

    • Experience assisting in teacher trainings and mentoring L1-EAYT and L2-IAYT (at least 4 teachers when applying)

    • Completion of the Train the Trainers Program

  • Submit the Application to Teach/Co-Teach Immersions & Teacher Trainings Form

  • Interview with the PD & Licensing Director

  • Approval by the Profesional Development Team
