Christina Sell has been practicing asana since 1991 and teaching since 1998. She began her studies in Iyengar yoga, found the Anusara system in 1999, and was certified in Anusara in 2001. She has a undergraduate degree in Counseling and a Masters Degree in Integrative Education. Known for her down-to earth approach to spirituality and her clarity and humor, Christina is the author of three books on body image and yoga: Yoga From the Inside Out: Making Peace with Your Body Through Yoga, My Body is a Temple: Yoga as a Path to Wholeness, and A Deeper Yoga: Moving Beyond Body Image to Wholeness an Freedom. She lives in Bellingham, WA with her husband, Kelly, and her beloved dog, Locket. She enjoys riding her bike, lifting weights, hanging out with friends, reading and spending time in nature.
