As we breathe into the start of 2026, I wanted to take a moment to speak with you from the heart about Śraddhā. In our tradition, Śraddhā is that luminous trust—the deep, heart-felt conviction that carries us forward even when the path isn't perfectly clear.


The last two years have been a whirlwind. I’ll be honest—watching the challenges facing the yoga world today has sometimes felt overwhelming. But whenever I felt that weight, I looked at what we were doing together here at the School, and I saw a different story. I saw a community that shows up with unwavering Śraddhā. I am so incredibly proud of what we have achieved together; these aren't just "business wins," they are milestones that prove the heart of our school is beating stronger than ever.




What’s Next: Growing Our Resources

We aren't stopping here. This year, we are working on projects designed to support you directly:

  • The Anusara Video Library: Featuring tutorial videos of the Syllabus 1 from our senior teachers.

  • Affiliated Studios Network: A new space on our website where studios get their own profile and directory, helping you grow your local community.

  • The Curriculum Committee’s Vision: We are developing a Mentoring Program to help you refine your teaching skills and a Train the Trainers Program to give our future leaders the confidence and pedagogical tools they need to lead our core trainings.



This year "Cherry on Top": Samavesha 2026


I cannot wait for Samavesha 2026 in San Francisco! We’ve organized something truly special:

  • A 3-day Teachers Intensive to go deep and refine your teaching skills.

  • A 3-day Main Conference to practice together, learn more about neuroscience and somatics, dive into philosophy with Carlos Pomeda, and celebrate with MC Yogi and Shantala.

Thanks YogaKula and Saraswati Clere for following your heart and co-host Samavesha this year!



A Final Thought of Gratitude

More than anything, I want to thank you for your trust and your faith. We still have a lot of work to do, but I know it is possible because we are anchored in our third pillar: Kula (Community). This shared trust is what makes our community a living, breathing reality.

I want to see you at Samavesha—to meet you in person, give you a hug, and share a practice together. Thank you for being the soul of this school.

Anusara Affiliated Studios Program 2026!


This year, we are giving the Anusara Yoga Affiliated Studio Program new energy and greater clarity. 

We will renew our Anusara Affiliated Studios Program to reflect the importance of your teachings, your support in the Anusara Yoga method and our community worldwide. 



CRITERIA


If you meet the following criteria you can apply to become an Affiliated Studio:

  • The studio is owned by a currently licensed Anusara yoga teacher OR the studio hosts at least ONE Anusara class per week taught by licensed Anusara yoga teachers 

AND

  • Your studio’s website and marketing materials clearly indicate that Anusara yoga classes are available.



BENEFITS


Here is a sneak peek at some of the ideas and benefits we are creating for you:

  • We are building a network that will foster teaching exchanges between studios and Anusara teachers to help you enrich your yoga offerings for your students.

  • We are working on promotional and marketing materials to support you in your visibility.

  • Anusara Affiliated Studios will be Anusara Locations for Yoga Alliance

  • We are creating a safe space for you to exchange ideas with like-minded studio owners through an Affiliated Studio whatsapp group and quarterly Zoom meetings.


If you already have an Affiliated Studio or you teach at an Affiliated Studio or you would like to affiliate your studio today, please take 5 min of your time to fill this survey and help us refine the new Anusara Yoga Affiliated program to your needs.


We will get back to you in the next two weeks with our new Anusara Affiliated studio program to support you even better this year.








Announcement:

The Universal Fee!


Starting January 2026, we will simplify our current fees (reinstatement fee, late fee, application fee, and administration fee) into a single Universal Fee.


Universal Fee: $55.00 USD


This change will streamline our administrative and accounting processes, making everything simpler and more efficient.


We remain committed to keeping our membership fees steady while also incorporating services and resources that add value to your professional development within the Anusara School of Hatha Yoga.
