We chatted with our mentor, Suzanne Faith about her experience with Anusara and why she decided to become an Anusara mentor!
Tell us a little about yourself.
I’m deeply passionate about exploring our internal capacities to heal and grow as human beings and have spent over three decades deeply immersed into the teachings and methodologies of yoga, psychology, meditation, spiritual contemplation and education. I am a life-long learner and devotee to the one-heart of humanity. I am Co-Founder of Bindu Institute for Learning and supporting teachers in their development as educators.
Why did you choose to become a Mentor?
I find the non-dual tantric teachings to be completely revolutionary in the way we interact with ourselves, our reality and the world around us. These teachings are very precious to me. They have been a very powerful ally and resource for me in my personal development and daily functioning. It is with the utmost honour I pass-on these teachings in a mentorship setting. I have a passion for learning and education, and mentorship provides a platform to express my passions and skills.
Tell us about your Mentoring Session.
Mythology is a passage-way into the mystical fabrics and layers of ourselves. Mythology and storytelling invite us to explore and relate to parts of ourselves that we may tend to avoid, ignore or deny. Mythic storytelling has been used for centuries across many lineages as a means to heal, especially the telling and exploration of your own personal story. This session will provide a few key principles on how to effectively integrate Mythology into your classes, workshops or immersions.
What is your inspiring message for our members?
Our wisdom as teachers is in kinship with our studentship.
