Kathy has been practicing yoga since 2002. She completed her first 200 hour Anusara teacher training in 2003. She became certified Jan 30 2011. Kathy and husband Jim (Anusara-Inspired) own two yoga studios in the northwest suburbs of Chicago, Arlington Heights and Lake Zurich. They both teach Anusara as well as most of their teaching staff as they have all gone through Kathy’s teacher training. She has led 200 hour teacher trainings for over 7 years, and is hosting a 300 hour advanced Anusara Teacher training this upcoming year. In addition to the 500 hour Anusara Certification, Kathy has attended 4 week long Anusara Therapeutic Trainings and several other Therapeutic, and Anatomy Trainings taught by Anusara Master Instructors. She specializes in the area of Therapeutic orientated yoga and applies this in all her classes.
