Dixie Bachmeier, an Anusara, Yoga Alliance RYT-200 yoga teacher, sports chiropractor, black belt, and marathoner, was drawn to the stimulating and systematic principles of Anusara yoga which coincide nicely with a scientific mind. With the guidance of skilled teachers Doc Savage, Adam Ballenger, and Tiffany Wood, she has also experienced the life changing and heart opening effects of Anusara which strike to the deeper intent of the practice. Her teaching style is a mix of light-hearted experimentation and knowledgeably guided challenge designed to coax students out of their comfort zone in order to open to life’s greatness. When she’s not teaching yoga, or practicing chiropractic, she can be found on the family ranch in the Badlands of ND with her husband, Scott, likely running through the pines with her four-legged friends Blue and Zina.
