Greg Coyle is an Anusara Inspired yoga instructor, and has been teaching since 2002.

He was born in Tucson, Arizona, and has lived in various cities in the US, and since July 2004 in Oslo, Norway.

Greg started yoga as a teenager in Saint Louis, Missouri, practicing and enjoying hatha yoga during a semester class in 1995.

It was many years later that Greg returned to yoga upon recommendations from a chiropractor to help with lower back pain. He started practicing hatha yoga again regularly in 1998, and in 2001 his regular teachers began practicing and teaching Anusara yoga themselves. Greg has also studied various other yoga forms such as Ashtanga, Power, Flow, Iyengar, Kundalini, and Jivamukti (at various centers in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York).

In 2002, Greg started the Anusara Teacher Training program at City Yoga in Los Angeles, and has since taught Anusara style hatha yoga in Los Angeles, Berkeley, and San Francisco, California, and Oslo, Norway.

Greg has an MBA and works with international financial reporting and business control.

Greg has been working at BALANCE Yoga & Pilates studio in Oslo as a senior instructor since 2006 http://www.balancestudio.no, he has been participating as a volunteer instructor at the Yoga festival in Oslo since 2008 http://www.yogafestivalen.no, and various other events.
Greg regularly cross-trains with yoga, running, cycling, swimming, and weights. He enjoys cooking and eating healthy and tasty food, and regularly travels throughout Europe with his partner.

Greg is also a licensed Religious Science Practitioner RScP with the United Centers for Spiritual Living, training others to use spiritual tools to enhance, improve, and create the lives they dream. Read more: http://www.scienceofmind.no
