Dear Licensed Teachers,
Our license fee is an expression of our devotion to teaching Anusara yoga. It also supports the Anusara School of Hatha Yoga, the organizational “fascia” of Anusara yoga worldwide, which keeps us all connected.
Did you know that more than half of our licensed teachers have license anniversaries on January 1st? The Anusara School of Hatha Yoga’s MindBody Online software enables the School and teachers to track renewals and offer teachers an easier way to track their purchases. The software is designed in such a way that when teachers do not renew BEFORE their license anniversary date, the software automatically sets them as inactive.
2020 has been a real challenge for many teachers. Because of this, the School’s Board of Directors has decided to not increase the license fees for 2021 even to keep up with inflation. License fees will not increase and payment plans are now available and can be selected at time of renewal.
To facilitate the renewal process for both you and the School’s staff, the School has implemented the following changes, effectively immediately:
- All license anniversary dates will now be on the 1st of their respective months.
- For example: If your original anniversary date was October 25th, it will now be November 1st, and your expiration date will be October 31st of every year.
- Please memorize your renewal anniversary month and submit your renewal payment BEFORE the 1st of that month. Paying the day of your anniversary will already be too late!
- Reminders notifications will be sent out. To help you remember to renew before your license expires, we will send you three (3 ) reminder notifications prior to your expiration date. If you have not yet given us permission to send you important notifications, please follow these steps:
- Sign in to your your MindBodyOnline
- Register for all notifications by checking off the 3 boxes located under “Profile” > “Personal” > “What do you want to hear about”
- Download the MBO app: If your native language is not English, please download the MindBodyOnline (MBO) app to access MBO in your own language. The desktop version is only available in English.
- Please use the 2 links in the reminder notice to renew your license. Use the first link to log into your MBO. Use the second link to open the license renewal page.
- Effective January 1st, 2021: Teachers who renew late will have to pay a late-renewal fee of $25 USD. If they renew within the first 30 days following their expiration date, they will be refunded $10 USD. After 2 months of inactivity, teachers will have to pay the reinstatement fee. - Renewing early does not change the start date of your license. Once you renew your license, our administration team will automatically reset your start date to the 1st of your respective anniversary month. Example, if your license expires on January 1st, and you renew on December 1st, we will reset your start date to January 1st.
